How to Use
- Adjust the cutting depth of the blade to the insulation thickness by rotating the knurled head.
- With thumb on the back of upper jaw frame, push upper jaw outward, insert cable at desired position and release upper jaw.
- The first cut will be a rotary cut around the cable.
- For a longitudinal cut, twist the tool handle 1/4 turn to the right and pull toward the end of cable.
- For spiral cut, pull up on the collar of the tool to set tool blade at an angle for spiral cut.
- In this position, the tool will have a small space exposed between the collar and the body indicating the tool is set for spiral cutting.
- To return tool to original position, push down on collar and twist to the left. The collar will lock into position.
- To replace the blade, lift the upper jaw frame and unscrew the knurled head screw to gain access to the blade. Lift out the blade and put replacement into slot provided in the tool and replace the knurled head.
